The Chingay Parade lasted for two days. There were 17 floats, 7000 performers, 60 000 people watching at the F1 pit building. It was full of colours and music that you would enjoy for the whole night! Get bedazzled at Chingay parade 2010, showcasing Asia in many different ways that is beyond your imagination!!
CDCS ON PARADEThis is Singapore largest Dream Catcher. Dream catcher is used to protect the children from nightmares. It is believe that good dreams will pass through the hole in the centre of the dream catcher, while bad dreams are trapped in the net and will perish in the light of dawn.
In the afternoon In the evening (Lights were turned on) These were float for the Combined CDCS. This was taken before the Chingay parade starts. The combined CDCS sat beside their own float, so this was taken at the resting area for combined CDCS.
Riverside secondary school participated in the Chingay parade 2010 Wearable arts and they were part of the combined CDCS. They were taking a group photo with the CDCS float before the parade starts.
The float for LEE FOUNDATION(one of the sponsors). The float was decorated with sweets, donuts, cup cakes, chocolates and more! Looks very yummy, but it is uneatable.

There was a mini version of Singapore flyer on the float. The front of the float had two unicorns and at the back of the float, there is a mini capsule too. The float looked very unique and beautiful.
Old chang kee and Polar are both sponsors of the chingay parade. They provided the foods and drinks for the performers.

This is the Singapore flyer!! This was the first time the Chingay parade was hold at the F1 pit building next to the Singapore flyer.
This is the picture of one of the students from Riverside secondary school that participated in the Chingay Parade 2010. The face drawing was done by one of the teachers in Riverside secondary school. Many people in the Chingay parade also had their face drawn; this also made the parade looked more lively and colourful!
This is a photo of a family that participated in the chingay parade wearable arts. Their costumes are made up of empty tapes and white soft Styrofoam liked items, except for that little boy that is wearing a costume that made him looks like head of an army. That is very cute right? They had participated in chingay parade 2009 too!
This is a stick that was given to some performers in the chingay parade .It gave off light in the dark when the switch is turned on.
The parade ended with fireworks that lasted for about 10 minutes. A wonderful ending, now let’s look forward to chingay parade 2011!!
